Let go.
Lock in.
Level up.

Dominic Foti, LCMHC
I’m a licensed mental health counselor and performance coach working with athletes and executives who want to build more clarity, resilience, and confidence—especially when the pressure’s on.
I come at this from both sides: I’ve trained clinically and spent years competing in high-level athletics. I was a Division I collegiate martial artist, played golf professionally for a stretch, and still compete as an amateur. I know what it’s like to stand over a must-make putt with everything on the line. I’ve felt the thrill of draining it—and the sting of watching it slip by. Those experiences, more than any win or loss, have shaped how I think about pressure, failure, and what it truly means to be in the moment.
For the past 20 years, I’ve worked with a range of clients—athletes, leaders, and teams—helping them manage pressure, strengthen relationships, and stay grounded in the middle of challenge. My approach combines evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with a focus on process, accountability, and emotional awareness.
I completed my clinical training at the University of Vermont and spent several years in leadership roles in behavioral health before moving into private practice. I've continued my education through programs at Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance, and I have presented at conferences nationwide.
These days, I spend most of my time coaching people who are serious about what they do—whether it’s on the course, in the boardroom, or anywhere performance really matters.
I live in Stowe, Vermont, with my wife and our two boys. Kat, my wife, is a doctor of physical therapy and owns Stowe Physical Therapy & Pilates. We share a small clinic overlooking the Green Mountains and often collaborate to support both the mental and physical needs of our clients.
